Admissions Process

At Solstice we have a selective admissions process. This is done in an effort to ensure that the girls we accept into our program are appropriate for the level of care we provide, that our program and your daughter are a good fit for one another, and that we can provide the services that your daughter requires in order to progress successfully.

We strive to respect your child’s needs and those of your family, so we strive to understand every family’s specific situation.  We do this through our admissions process, which typically proceeds as follows:

Step 1: Contact us to learn more about the program. We are available seven days a week at (866) 278-3345.

Step 2: Learn about Solstice.  We are certain you will find our comprehensive therapeutic approach combined in a small, home-like setting to offer the right blend of clinical sophistication and loving care.  We certainly encourage you to ask questions.

Step 3: Apply for admittance into Solstice.  Parents will be asked to complete an application including clinical information, and treatment histories relative to  their daughter. This information will be used by the Admission’s team, including Clinical, Admissions, Program, and Academic directors, to ensure our program can help your daughter.

Step 4: Acceptance into Solstice.  When a successful review of your application is completed and your family is accepted into Solstice, then you can begin the process of preparation for admission.

Step 5: Set date for arrival.  Typically, we find it best to make the decision and have a young girl join us within a short period of time.  Too much time between acceptance and admittance can often lead to high anxiety and undue stress.

Step 6: Day One in a Journey to a healthier, more productive path.

We hear from families all the time that making the decision is often the hardest part, but once that decision is made a sense of calm and confidence often ensues.  We have helped many young women and families over the years.  We would love the opportunity to help your family, too.

Please contact us anytime at (866) 278-3345 to learn more about how Solstice can help.

We want you to be confident we’re the right solution. Call us today.

Celebrating Long-term Success

“Solstice got me through one of the hardest times in my life. I had a support group that’s huge,
between the therapists and the mentors, the other girls–all helping each other”
Veronica, finding support for relationships and adoption issues.
