Camp For Troubled Girls and assigned female at birth From Colorado

Why Choose Solstice Over a Summer Camp for Troubled Girls and assigned female at birth from Colorado?

Solstice offers our students the best of both worlds. While we have a wide range of fun outdoor activities for our girls and assigned female at birth to partake in, such as hiking, horsemanship and camping, those activities will be used as the foundation in lessons of personal growth, holistic healing, and overcoming trauma and depression. Camp For Troubled Girls and assigned female at birth Colorado

Solstice is located in Utah, but we help teens from all over the United States.

Traditional summer camps in Colorado don’t offer the wide range of therapeutic care that Solstice offers its students. Along with our outdoor excursions, our girls and assigned female at birth also benefit from multiple different types of therapy:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Adventure therapy
  • Psychiatric counseling

We believe that a holistic approach to healing is the most effective way of creating lasting change for our students. Our different counseling opportunities allow us to not only create the most individualized approach for your daughter’s needs, but also make sure that they are receiving treatment for their body as well as their mind.

Academics

Amidst the fun and healing, academics won’t be forgotten. In keeping with our holistic approach to healing, we offer classes in the arts, PE and traditional school subjects so that your child won’t be left behind when they returns to school in Colorado.

Our mission is to prepare your child for their future outside Solstice, and that includes preparing their for college. We offer a solid academic plan that meets college admissions criteria. In fact, our students’ average ACT scores are higher than the national average!

You can rest well knowing that your child is in good hands emotionally, as well as academically.

Why You Should Choose Solstice Over A Camp For Troubled Girls and assigned female at birth From Colorado

Your child deserves the best care possible, and here at Solstice we have the resources and expertise needed to give their the best possible experience. Camp For Troubled Girls and assigned female at birth Colorado

Solstice is not a camp for troubled girls, but a privately owned, all-girls and assigned female at birth residential treatment center. We cater to young people ages 14-18 from Colorado and all over the country. We offer our students a warm, welcoming environment that will feel like a home away from home. Our campus is located in a small, safe community, that provides our girls and assigned female at birth with access to shops, churches and restaurants, as well as outdoor and cultural activities.

Located in Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City, our program helps girls and assigned female at birth from all over the country including Colorado. Sending your child away from home to receive therapeutic treatment might be the best thing you can do for their and your whole family. While at Solstice, you and your teen will have the time to refocus and strengthen your relationship. Her time away from the family gives their the space they needs to work through their challenges.

Therapy at Solstice

Thanks to our therapeutic foundation, which is built upon principles, relationships and experiential therapy, we take an individualized approach to each of our students.

Not only do we offer extensive one-on-one therapy sessions, but our therapists also work with our students’ families. Furthermore, the girls and assigned female at birth at Solstice also benefit from their counselors partaking in their daily activities throughout their stay. Therapists in Colorado, or at a summer camp for troubled girls and assigned female at birth might not get to be there to help your child during their day-to-day activities outside the clinical environment. We believe that lasting change comes partially as a result of learning to deal with life’s daily stressors, and our counselors are always there to help with that achievement.

Our team knows that relationships are an important part of healing, and they strive to develop close, trusting relationships with our students. In order to help your child develop healthy relationships with their family and amongst their peers, we also provide group and family therapy, where your child can learn to heal and create lasting change.
