Schools for Troubled Teens Help Restore Alaska Youth’s Confidence

Many teens with mental and emotional challenges struggle in traditional high school settings. Teens dealing with grief, trauma, and abuse often find these struggles too overwhelming. Motivation for schoolwork usually suffers. Alaska teens in a downward spiral of aggressive behaviors, isolation, substance abuse or truancy often struggle with poor academic performance and low self-confidence. Schools for troubled teens understand your child’s difficulties during these trying times.
