Solstice RTC Program Offers Parents An Alternative to Group Homes for Girls
Today’s teens face unique challenges during their adolescence. Constantly being connected to social media, stress about the current state of world affairs, and difficult personal struggles all impact the healthy development of modern teens. Without the proper resources and support, teens struggling with trauma, grief, and emotional issues often turn to high risk or self-harming behaviors to cope. Drug abuse, truancy, and sexual promiscuity have the potential to create consequences leading well into adulthood.
Some parents have no other option than to enroll their daughters into group homes for girls. These programs give teens a safe, supportive environment where their specific issues are addressed. There are many different group homes available with varying treatment methods. Unfortunately, some of these programs fall short in creating lasting change.
Although Solstice is located in Layton, Utah, we help families from all over the country.
For decades, Solstice, a residential treatment facility in Utah, has helped teen girls deal with their unique struggles by providing comprehensive individual, family, and academic therapy.
While some group homes for girls focus on compliance with program expectations as a means to address issues, Solstice believes true change comes from within. Solstice’s proven Three Pillars of Change treatment philosophy allows teens to develop healthy, trusting relationships which helps facilitate self-awareness of core principles. Expert staff help cultivate desirable values through compassionate therapy and experiential activities.
Solstice has the resources to help your daughter build self-confidence, positive coping skills, and emotional resilience.
